So you have received your invitation and signed up for telvee, what now? Coffee reading is all about fun. Telvee would be more fun with a large network. So, go ahead and invite some friends. To display the invitation form; click on Send an invitation link at the bottom of the right column of your profile.
Some of your acquintances might have already signed up. To add them as friends; click on Cups on the main menu to display a list of recently turned cups. As usual, you can see details of a user if you move the pointer over her avatar. When you find someone to friend with you can click Add <user> to your friends link, from cup pages or their profile pages, to send a friendship request. Once the other person approves your request you will both be notified about activities of each other. Of course it is possible your friendship request to be declined.
The main thing about coffee reading is, of course, writing fortunes (and comments) for others. We don't have any idea how coffee reading is really done. And it's perfectly OK if you don't know the first thing about it too. Remember, it's all about having fun. You are not expected to be a professional fortuneteller, your fortunes are unlikely to be taken seriously. You shouldn't take fortunes too seriously. A healthy way to look at it is to think of coffee reading as a form of social interaction, engaged for a short excitement and fun.
Finally to keep the conversation going, don't forget to turn a new cup once in a while. It depends on you and your network of friends when to turn a new cup. But we can say somewhere between 2 and 5 fortunes would be a good time to turn a new cup.
